Ezekiel 38. Gog and Magog.

Based on the kabalistic commentary by Rabbi Moshe David Valle, a famous Italian Torah sage and physician on Ezekiel, chapter 38.

"It’s known that at the time of the Redemption, G-d will get a hold of Moshiach and give him the powers to smash the Supernal Snake’s brains. This is because Moshiach and Nochash (Snake) share the same gematria (358) to hint that this one will come and will subjugate that one, opposite him in essence.
He (G-d) will cause that one to lose his head, it also says: He will render judgement over nations, this will result in a multitude of corpses, crushing the head of a major country. 

 It’s also written: You went out to save your people and your Messiah , crushing the Head of the House of the wicked. (Chabbakuk 3:13)

 Indeed, it is the way of a snake that when its head is crushed, it continues to wiggle with the tip of its tail. And this is the matter of the War of Gog and Magog juxtaposed in the Prophet to the Ingathering of the Exiles (Kibbutz Goliyus) and the Jewish communities in their lands and the building of the Beis HaMikdash (Temple). 

Accordingly, after the things mentioned, i.e. the crushing of the head of the Supernal Snake, still, down below, it will wake up and jump to wiggle its tail through Gog - ”the Chief Ruler of Meshech and Tuval”. My intuition tells me that this is the Caesar of Muscovy (Moscow).  And this is the Chief of Meshech who is the Snake’s tail wiggling towards the north which is literally his place. And Hashem, Who implants in his heart (Gog's) [thoughts] to act in such a manner, in order to destroy him completely on the mountains of Israel so that neither the root nor branch will remain. 

And that which is written - “ and there was a word of G-d: Son of Man, turn your face to Gog from the land of Magog, Chief of Meshech and Tuval and prophesy about him.” The fact that he is called “Gog” may simply mean his name or a notarikon (letter substitution) for a nation and an assembly of nations to hint at the many nations that are with him and Hashem’s will be exalted and sanctified in the world through the fall of Gog.

Additional points:

1. The mention of the Snake and its tail above may explain the "Z" on Russian tanks, trucks, etc.

There is no Z in the Russian alphabet and the letter  may mean "Zanav" (tail) and Z is shaped a like a snake. The emoji for snake also looks like a letter Z.
